Sphere is creating new product primitives for data ownership, licensing, discovery, and purchase. You will shape the interfaces that make those workflows feel simple, credible, and fast.
This is a hands-on design role for someone who can move from product strategy to high-fidelity UI to implementation-ready details without needing a large design org around them.
What you'll do
- Design polished product flows across onboarding, data upload, marketplace discovery, checkout, admin review, and buyer workspaces.
- Turn ambiguous founder and customer feedback into clear wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and visual systems.
- Partner closely with engineering to ship production UI and keep product quality high across rapid releases.
- Build reusable design patterns that help Sphere scale from founder-led product decisions to a durable product organization.
You may be a fit if
- You have experience designing production SaaS, marketplace, developer tool, fintech, or data infrastructure products.
- You have excellent product judgment and can explain why an interface should work a certain way.
- You are comfortable working in Figma, prototyping quickly, and collaborating directly with engineers.
- You care about dense, trustworthy, high-clarity product surfaces rather than decorative design for its own sake.
