Sphere is building the data infrastructure layer for the AI economy. In this role, you will work across product surfaces, backend systems, data workflows, marketplace transactions, and user-facing tools that make high-value private data usable for AI labs.
You should be comfortable owning ambiguous features end to end: shaping the product, designing the interaction, implementing the frontend, building the backend, and iterating quickly based on what users need.
What you'll do
- Design and ship full-stack features across creator onboarding, data upload, discovery, licensing, purchase, and admin workflows.
- Build frontend interfaces that feel polished and backend systems that are reliable, secure, and easy to extend.
- Work directly with founders, creators, and AI buyers to turn unclear product needs into production software.
- Move quickly across design, implementation, debugging, and iteration without waiting for perfect instructions.
You may be a fit if
- You have at least 3 years of experience building production software in a full-stack engineering role.
- You have strong product engineering judgment and can move confidently across frontend, backend, and design details.
- You have agency, self-drive, and the ability to think independently when the path is not fully defined.
- You care about clean systems, pragmatic execution, fast iteration, and building infrastructure that will matter to AI, data rights, and IP ownership.
